A group of high-tech Minnesotans has invented a way to power up your home at the tip of your fingers.
Three Minnesota inventors started up their own business called "SmartThings" that makes your house much smarter, and in some cases safer.
They sell battery-powered sensors and switches that can be stuck all over the house, and connect to an app on your phone. The technology turns on things like lights or locks your door in response to your movements.
The hub for your home runs about $100, and each motion sensor costs about $40.
