Another arrest has been made in the beating of former Minneapolis mayoral candidate Mark Andrew during the attempted theft of his cell phone at Mall of America, according to police.
On Wednesday, Bloomington police arrested a 15-year-old Minneapolis boy in the Dec. 26 theft and assault at Mall of America. The teen was booked into the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center on a charge of first-degree robbery.
Eighteen-year-old Letaija Shapree Cutler-Cain, of Brooklyn Park, and 17-year-old Deea Leshawn Elliott, of Minneapolis, were already charged with three felony charges.
A petition has been filed to try Elliott as an adult.
No additional arrests are expected.
