Police have identified a woman found dead outside her family's Lakeville home Tuesday as 32-year-old Andrea Marker.

Family members called police at 3:52 p.m. after they found Marker outside the home on the 17500 block of Illinois Court.

Police say Marker's body may have been lying on the sidewalk in front of the home for 20 hours.

Just a few days earlier police were called to the home for a domestic disturbance. Marker ended up in the hospital. "She had been consuming alcohol, there were other fears of self harm... in the investigation it was determined she needed to be placed on a mental health welfare hold," Lakeville Interim Police Chief John Kornmann said.

Lakeville Police are treating Marker's death as "suspicious" until a cause is determined.

Police are not sure if the frigid temperatures are a factor in Marker's death, but they did notice evidence of possible hypothermia. They say exposure is their primary focus at this time.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy.
