Unlike Bing Crosby's plea for a "White Christmas," we don't have to dream to make this white Christmas come true.
With 4" of snow overnight and more flurries expected through Wednesday night, a bunch of Minnesotans were out enjoying this winter wonderland at Como Park in St. Paul on skis and snow shoes.
"It's a white Christmas, you can't beat a white Christmas. So we're excited about that and the temperatures are nice, anywhere from 10 to 25 degrees it's perfect ski conditions," said Elaine and Grant Nelson of Duluth.
"We've got a good snow year, but it's always fun to get on the fresh stuff it's smooth that way," said David Bridges, a cross-country skier.
Also Christmas morning, a 5K race that claims to be the "Biggest Christmas Day 5K in the USA" was held at Como Lake.
The race, put on by an organization called, "Charities Challenge," wanted to inspire folks to get out and exercise with friends and family on a regular basis.
It's a way many of the runners always start out their Christmas mornings, a chance to get out and enjoy this picturesque day.
