The Salvation Army in South Dakota is celebrating an extra special donation from the land down under.
It's 99.99 percent gold and could be worth as much as $1500 dollars.
"We opened up the kettle and we're like, 'wow what's this?'" Major Tom Riggs said. "And unwrapped the note and there it was. It said, 'bell ringers are special people.'"
Twice this month the Salvation Army in Sioux Falls has received a gold bar minted in Australia.
Similar donations have been reported in other places like Chicago and Omaha, Neb.
