A 20-year-old man has been charged after allegedly threatening a student in Somerset, Wis. on Thursday morning.
According to the Somerset Police Department, a student at the elementary school in Somerset told a teacher they were threatened by a man.
The Somerset Police Department was notified of the incident around 8:17 a.m. Thursday.
The school district ordered a lockdown within the district and officers searched the elementary school. After searching the school twice, they did not find the man. Officers went to other schools in the district to investigate.
Using the security procedures of the district, they later identified the man as Andrew Joseph Robert Wallace.
With the help of the New Richmond Police Department, Wallace was taken into custody and was charged with disorderly conduct.
