Construction of the new Vikings stadium is already underway outside the Metrodome. Now we're learning more about where the remains of the Metrodome will end up.

Crews will move dirt from the Dome to Blaine. Soon crews will start hauling more than 300,000 cubic yards, that's enough dirt to fill more than 107 Olympic-size swimming pools. It's all going to a 33-acre site in Blaine near 109th and Lexington avenues, an area once considered for a new Vikings stadium.

Allina Health owns the land and paid $500,000 for the dirt for future development or sale of the site.
