The musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra say they will be moving forward with or without orchestra management.

On Monday, musicians will hold a public meeting to talk about the past year and preview a new vision as they move forward. As part of that new vision, the musicians are expected to announce a new mission statement.

The musicians have been locked out for 14 months. Since then, Director Osmo Vanska has resigned. The musicians have also formed a new nonprofit, which has raised $300,000 since August.

The public meeting took place at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Downtown Minneapolis Hilton.
