Frigid weather will continue through Wednesday, with highs barely above zero and wind chills from -20 to -25.

KSTP.com Meteorologist Patrick Hammer says we saw another inch of snow overnight.

Roads were already icy from last week's storm. With the new round of light snow and no relief from frigid temperatures, driving conditions are dangerous on some roadways.

On Sunday, 1.2 inches of snow had fallen at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and troopers handled 417 crashes and 336 vehicle spin outs and vehicles off the road across the state. None of the crashes in Minnesota were deadly.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, troopers handled 60 crashes and 63 vehicles off the road or spin outs in the metro between 5 and 9 a.m. Monday.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin, expiring at noon Tuesday.
