Funeral services are being planned for the two children who were killed when the car they were in crashed into a holding pond in St. Louis Park.

Minnesota Public Radio says the funeral service for 5-year-old Zenavia Rennie is set for Saturday, and the funeral service for 7-year-old Alarious Coleman-Guerrido is set for Sunday.

The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Highways 7 and 100. The children were submerged in the car in near-freezing water for up to 45 minutes.

Three other children were also in the car at the time and survived.

The family's attorney tells KSTP that 5-year-old Amani Coleman-Guerrido was removed from life support and is now starting physical therapy. One-year-old Aliyana Rennie also continues to improve. Her heart is working well, although she still needs help breathing.

Both are at the Hennepin County Medical Center.

Six-year-old Zarihana Rennie is at Amplatz Children's Hospital. She is also doing better.
