Dr. Stephen Larson was a beloved doctor who used his gifts to give back to his community. Larson was murdered Friday at his Orono home.

Larson is being remembered for his generosity. He helped found a teen clinic in the west suburbs in 1971, and it still helps teens today.

For 30 years Larson came into the West Suburban Teen Clinic, after a full day of seeing patients at his own clinic in Edina.

A nurse who worked with Larson says his heart was full of kindness for teens in tough situations.

"Dr. Larson had an amazing calmness to him, and easiness to his voice. He would really relax the kids so they could feel comfortable asking questions and coming in for care," said Connie Robertson, a Former Colleague at West Suburban Teen Clinic.

The teen clinic expanded into two locations. It's now called My Health for Teens and Young Adults.

It's still in its original location in Excelsior, and also in Hopkins, the same town where Dr. Larson graduated from Blake High School.
