Man Dead after Shooting Outside South Mpls. Bar

Police say one man is dead and another is in critical condition after an early-morning shooting outside a popular Uptown bar.
The shooting happened early Sunday in front of Mortimer's Bar and Restaurant, just off the intersection of Lyndale and Franklin avenues in south Minneapolis.
No arrests have been made, but police say the public is not at risk. Police are continuing to investigate.
One of the shooting victims died a short while later at Hennepin County Medical Center. The other was taken into surgery and is in critical condition. They have not been identified.
