Top Minn. Businesswomen Inspire Next Generation
What does it take to become one of the world's top businesswomen?
Students at Minneapolis Public Schools got a first-hand lesson Thursday. About 75 of Minneapolis Public Schools top-performing young women went to an outreach event with Minnesota female entrepreneurs.
The idea is to inspire the juniors and seniors so that someday they may be able to work in a business setting or own their own business.
At each table sat a handful of young women, with a business-owner, a part of the non-profit C-200, who shared their stories of success.
The goal is to help open up the students' minds about what's possible outside of the classroom. The C-200 mentorship lasts only one day, but the hope is that it inspires these young ladies to dream big.
