Police on Friday continued investigating an apparent murder-suicide shooting in Roseville that left two men dead.
The incident happened Thursday afternoon in a delivery area behind several stores at 1955 County Road B2 West, which is along Prior Avenue, according to police. The shooting reportedly happened behind the company CPI and the sports store REI.
The two men were found on the ground and were an arm's length away from each other. A 33-year old man was found dead at the scene. A 44-year-old man had a critical head injury.
The injured man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later died.
The names of the men have not been released.
It's unclear who the shooter was, police said. A gun was recovered in the parking lot.
Police interviewed a 35-year-old woman in connection to the case. She was the wife of the 44-year-old man who died at HCMC. No additional suspects are being sought at this time.
According to police, there were phone calls between the three people to plan to meet behind CPI. Police say the woman and the 33-year old man were co-workers at CPI.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting with the investigation.
The delivery area also is used by REI, Schneiderman's Furniture, Tuesday Morning and North Memorial Urgent Care. All of the businesses in the area remained open for business Thursday.
