Authorities ID Man Found Dead in Shorewood Freezer
Authorities have identified the man found in a freezer at a home in Shorewood.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, the body is that of 58-year-old Eddie Frank Sole, of Shorewood.
According to the criminal complaint, 29-year-old Jetaun Wheeler, Sole’s girlfriend, was charged with intentional murder in the second degree.
Prosecutors say she killed Sole with a sharp object, and then put his body in a freezer in the garage at their duplex on Wood Duck Circle.
According to the complaint, the man's family contacted the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department Tuesday, Aug. 13, to report he was missing. They had expected him to arrive in Chicago Aug. 13, but he never showed up. They hadn't heard from him since July 31.
The medical examiner report shows the victim had blunt force trauma injuries to his face and significant lacerations.
