Brooklyn Center Postal Worker's Death Raises Safety Concerns

The widow of a postal worker, who was killed last June after being hit by a mail truck, talked with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS on Friday about her husband's death.
Postal worker Leo Michael Brandt, 58, died June 18 after being hit by a mail truck at a post office in Brooklyn Center. His widow, Loreese Brandt, said her husband's death has raised safety and parking concerns at the post office.
An autopsy released this week determined that Leo Brandt died of blunt force injuries, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. The crash happened around 6:24 a.m. June 18 at the post office, 6848 Lee Ave.
