Victim of Shooting at South Mpls. Bar Dies
Minneapolis Police say one man is now dead after an overnight shooting at a bar in the Lyndale neighborhood of South Minneapolis.
The shooting happened around midnight inside Champions Bar on West Lake Street. We're told the bar was crowded at the time of the shooting.
Police say the 51-year-old victim was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
One other man was shot, and police say his injury is non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call the Minneapolis Police Department's tip line at 612-692-8477.
