A Minnesota woman pleaded guilty to swindling hundreds of thousands of dollars from an elderly couple.
Sixty-one-year-old Carolyn Jean Cassar of Rochester admitted that for six years she took more than $840,000 from the couple.
Cassar said she needed the money to go after someone who defrauded her, but in reality she used the money to go on a European vacation and to hire an architect to build an Italian villa.
A judge can sentence Cassar up to 20 years in prison.
