Scattered Showers Flood Some Streets in Metro

Isolated thunderstorms dumped up to an inch-and-a-half of rain in parts of the metro.

The rain has caused several streets to flood in the metro Saturday afternoon. Gross Park on St. Anthony Parkway had knee high water. The road was closed as firefighters worked hard to clear storm drains.

KSTP.com Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas said clouds should clear out Saturday night with some areas of patchy fog developing after midnight.

Low temperatures will be in the low 60s.

For Father's Day, expect a sunny to partly cloudy sky.  High temperatures will be in the low 80s with west winds at 5 to 15 mph.

Jonathan said more clouds will move in for Sunday evening with a chance for thunderstorms.

Low temperatures will be in the low 60s with west winds at 5 to 10 mph.
