Family: Missing St. Paul Woman has Been Found

A missing St. Paul woman who family members say has type-1 diabetes has been found.

According to the website setup for Mari Ruddy, findmariruddy.com, Ruddy was found Thursday.

Her family released the following statement, “Mari has just been found. We will provide more details as soon as we can. Privacy is requested until more information can be shared. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.”

Ruddy had been missing since around 1 p.m. Tuesday. Family and friends say she had left her phone and other belongings in her home.

According to the website, Ruddy has lived with type-1 diabetes for 30 years and is also a two-time breast cancer survivor. She is the director of TeamWILD and the founder of the Red Rider Recognition Program. The organizations support women athletes living with diabetes.
