Minnesotans 'Sick and Tired' of Spring Snow
Sick and tired. That's the resounding message we're hearing from folks today.
We had a white Christmas, a white St. Paddy's Day, even a white Easter. Now the fear is a white Memorial Day!
Each person told 5 Eyewitness News they have their own coping mechanism for dealing with this delayed spring.
Some say they are hibernating until this storm passes through. Others are bucking it up and are still jogging in it and biking in the snow. Others say they are pulling out their spring wardrobe even if it means looking foolish.
No matter how much snow we get tonight, the city of Minneapolis won't declare a snow emergency. They can't after April 1 due to a city ordinance.
But crews will be out today, tonight and tomorrow treating and clearing the streets.
