Wis. Deputy Charged in Incident that Sparked 'Cover-Up'

The Wisconsin Attorney General has charged a Burnett County deputy whose conduct sparked an investigation of a cover-up inside the sheriff's office.

Deputy Christopher Culvey has been charged with disorderly conduct for an argument with his girlfriend.

The girlfriend's call to 911 allegedly led fellow deputies, dispatchers and supervisors to conspire in a cover-up to change call logs and details to shield Culvey from scrutiny, according to Sheriff Dean Roland.

A quarter of the sheriff's office has been under investigation.
