CVS Faces Criticism for Health Care Policy

One of the nation's largest drug store chains has sparked a debate by telling employees they have to hand over their health information or face a $600 penalty.

CVS says employees must have a doctor verify their weight, body fat, blood pressure and other levels or pay an extra $50 a month for insurance.

The company is giving workers until may of next year to decide. Patient rights advocates say this goes too far.

In a statement, CVS said their benefits program is helping employees take responsibility for their health and the company never sees the test results.
