Hennepin Co. Sheriff's Office: Report of Snowmobiler Through Ice Was 'Unfounded'

Emergency crews responded to a report Monday afternoon of a snowmobiler through the ice in Mound.

According to the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, when crews arrived at the scene they put a diver in the water and learned the initial report was 'unfounded.'

Crews discovered that a snowmobiler had not gone into the water, and they called off the search.
