WEB EXTRA: No Leads in St. Paul Woman's Search
A search Saturday for Kira Trevino, a St. Paul missing woman, ended with no new leads.
Volunteers began gathering at noon to look for Trevino, who police believe was murdered by her husband.
Trevino, 30, has been missing since Feb. 24.
Her husband Jeffery Trevino, 39, has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder after investigators found blood splatter in the couple's home.
The search was at the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area near Spring Lake, an area where her husband fishes.
About 30 volunteers met at the park's main entrance, 13690 Pine Bend Trail in Rosemount. The search occurred about 16.8 miles - or 21 minutes - from Trevino's St. Paul home.
Another search is scheduled to resume Sunday in St. Paul. Details and updates are available here. The searches are subject to change, depending on the weather.
