Woman Arrested for Leaving Children Alone at Bloomington Hotel

An Iowa woman is out of jail this morning following a child neglect investigation.
     
She's accused of leaving her two young nieces at a Bloomington hotel while she allegedly stayed out all night at a strip club and a casino.

Authorities said 18-year-old Alexah Mauskemo is charged with child neglect. She was arrested Friday morning, along with 39-year-old Douglas Cadotte.
     
Cadotte is charged with felony drug possession and is still in jail.

Police say they found the 6-year-old and toddler wandering around the lobby around midnight Friday.
     
They were taken to an emergency shelter.
