6-Year-Old Child Dies in Southern Minn. Crash

A child is dead after a crash in Southern Minnesota.
The crash occurred Sunday at 8:06 a.m.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a vehicle went off the roadway on Highway 4 in Martin County.
There were four people in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver of the vehicle, 26-year-old Alicia Tapia of Fairmont, was seriously injured.
Six-year-old Amonte King died in the crash.
A 4-year-old passenger was seriously injured, and a 9-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
According to a State Patrol report, alcohol was detected in Tapia's system.
At this point, additional details have not been released.
