Robbinsdale Man Missing After Bodysurfing in Mexico

A wife is searching for her husband after he was pulled underwater by an apparent rip current in Mexico.

Nancy and Mark Stoneberg of Robbinsdale were on a surf vacation near Puerto Vallarta when Mark went missing.

Nancy tells KSTP Mark was bodysurfing in the ocean Tuesday around 5 p.m. when he was sucked under.

She says authorities in Mexico seem unwilling to help her in the search and she is now working with the U.S. Embassy.

Someone on a paddle board searched shallow water Thursday in the area where Mark went missing.

Nancy is working to recruit more help.
