REPORT: Airlines Losing Less Luggage

The Federal Government says airlines are doing a better job of holding on to your luggage.
Last year for every 1,000 passengers there were only three reports of lost, delayed, or damaged luggage.
That's the lowest rate since the Department of Transportation started tracking the numbers in 1968.
Airlines also did a better job at getting their planes to the gates on time.
Last year nearly 82-percent of flights arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled time.
