Blowing Snow Reduces Visibility in West-Central Minn.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation advised drivers in west-central Minnesota to slow down and use their headlights Saturday afternoon due to wind gusts blowing snow.
MnDOT said road surface conditions are generally fair, but strong winds and blowing snow are greatly reducing visibility. Drivers may face near white-out conditions at times, MnDOT said.
Additionally, the blowing snow is creating scattered slippery spots.
