EmailStillwater Lift Bridge Reopens Friday
With unusually 'warm' December temperatures, construction on the Stillwater Lift Bridge has been completed ahead of schedule.
The bridge has been closed since Sept. 10. It was set reopen at 5 p.m. Friday.
According to MnDOT, the rehabilitation project focused on repairing steel connections, replacing and repairing mechanical and electrical components, repairing concrete surfaces, repairing floor beams, painting portions of the bridge and replacing guardrail, curb and gutter.
