Names Released in Fatal Apple Valley Crash

A 26 year-old man from Farmington was killed and three others injured in a crash on Cedar Avenue in Apple Valley on Sunday.

The State Patrol says a GMC Savana was heading south on Cedar Avenue near McAndrews just before 6 p.m when it hit a metal guard rail and traveled into northbound traffic, where it was hit by a Chevy Tahoe.

The State Patrol says 26-year-old Inocencio Munoz-Gutierrez, a passenger in the Savana, was killed. The driver, 31 year-old Solomon Adorno of Farmington, is in critical condition.

Also, 39-year-old Jason Bruenig and 35-year-old Kristi Bruenig of Lakeville, who were in the Tahoe, received minor injuries. A 7-year-old girl with them was not hurt.

Conditions were foggy Sunday, but investigators have not said what caused the Savana to veer off the road.
