Anoka Crash Kills Wisconsin Woman

Authorities are investigating a second deadly crash in the city of Anoka in the past two days.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says a 66-year-old woman from Hudson, Wis., was killed in the crash just before 3 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 38th Avenue and Bunker Lake Boulevard.
Witnesses told police the woman was going east on Bunker Lake Boulevard and tried to make a U-turn in the middle of the road near 38th Avenue. While making the turn, her car collided with an SUV driven by a 17-year-old girl.
The woman died at the scene. The 17-year-old driver and her passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the sheriff's office says.
Anoka Police Department, the Minnesota State Patrol and Anoka County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash.
A 16-year-old girl was hit and killed while crossing the street at Highway 10 and Verndale around 7:30 Monday night.
