Authorities ID Suspect Arrested in Anoka Shooting

A 27-year-old Anoka man is in critical condition after being shot seven times.

According to the Anoka County Police Department, officers responded to a shooting Saturday on the 700 block of Shoreview Drive.

Officers found a man had been shot multiple times in his upper torso and face. The man was later transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Authorities say the suspect, 24-year-old Adrian Bell of East Bethel, was arrested in Minneapolis about two hours after the shooting.

Charges have not yet been filed.

This case is under investigation.
