Pine Co. Sheriff's Deputy on Leave after Allegations of Theft

A Pine County Sheriff's deputy is on paid administrative leave after allegations of theft.

We're told the deputy has been on the department for the last two years. The Pine and Chisago County Sheriff's Office investigated the claims and the deputy was placed on leave. The Pine County Sheriff isn't releasing what the deputy is accused of stealing until the investigation is complete.

The Kanabec County Attorney is reviewing the case for possible charges.
