Delta Jet from Minneapolis to Detroit Diverted

An engine problem has forced a Delta Air Lines jetliner bound from Minneapolis to Detroit with 95 passengers to make an emergency landing at western Michigan's Grand Rapids airport.

Gerald Ford International Airport spokesman Bruce Schedlbauer tells Mlive.com that the flight crew reported the problem about 1:40 p.m. EDT and landed safely about 10 minutes later. The airport is in Kent County's Cascade Township.

No injuries were reported.
