Mpls. Police Investigate Apparent Double Homicide

Police officers are investigating a double homicide in North Minneapolis.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on the 1200 block of 10th Avenue North around 4:28 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found two dead victims inside the home -- an adult woman and a teenage boy.

Family tells us it was 57-year-old Beatrice Wilson and her grandson Peter Wilson, in his early teens, who were killed. Beatrice's nephew says she devoted her life to others, both in her family, and as a nurse at a veterans home in Minneapolis.

Police are trying to locate a person of interest to ask him questions about the murders.
