Locked-Out Wild Players Hit the Ice for Benefit Game

Players from the locked-out Minnesota Wild took to the ice Sunday at the Mariucci Arena to help support Defend The Blue Line, an organization that helps the children of military men and women serving over-seas continue to play hockey.

Bryan Reynolds from Defending the Blue Line says the NHL lock-out made the benefit game possible, but it's also been a double edged sword for the organization.

"We're being hurt and we're benefiting right now," he said. "Usually the players are donating tickets and their donating time and money, and the teams are donating money and suites, right now with the lockout, all of that has stopped."
