EmailPolice say Drunk Driver Hits Six Pedestrians at U of M
One person is still hospitalized at Hennepin County Medical Center in satisfactory condition after a motorist hit six pedestrians walking across Oak Street on the U of M campus. 
The driver is 32-year-old Kristine Peterson of St. Francis. She was arrested and booked for drunk driving Sunday afternoon. She told witnesses she never saw the pedestrians, that she was looking at a map. Her first court appearance is in November.
