Authorities have found the remains of a person inside a Somerset Township home that caught fire overnight.
Fire crews were called to the home on the 2100 block of County Road I around 11 p.m. Friday.
When crews arrived, they learned one person had escaped the home and another person was still inside.
The person who escaped was taken to a hospital with unspecified injures, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office.
The remains of one person were found inside the home after the fire was extinguished.
The sheriff's office and state fire marshal are investigating the fire.
