EmailPolice Arrest Suspect in Stabbing of Rochester Girl
Rochester police have arrested a suspect in connection to the stabbing of a 12-year-old girl.
Dillon Caudill, 31, was arrested just before 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to Rochester police. He was taken into custody without incident after he was located in the area of Marion Road SE and 16th St. SE.
Police say the girl was stabbed in the chest around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday at an apartment in the 200 block of Sixth Avenue Northwest.
She was taken to the hospital with severe, but non-life threatening injuries.
Caudill is an acquaintance of the girl's family, according to police.
He is currently on probation for a violent crime that took place in Colorado.
