Hazeltine National Golf Club Prepares for 2016 Ryder Cup
This week The Ryder Cup is coming to the Chicago suburbs, but in 2016 Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska will host the Cup.
Preparations are already underway for the tourney. They've invested 16 million dollars in improvements including a new clubhouse along with new grass on the greens and fairways.
The Ryder Cup is expected to boost our local economy by more than 100 million dollars. The club says when the PGA Championship was held at the course in 2009, the event brought about 60 million dollars to the local economy.
