Authorities ID Man Killed in Mpls. Bus Shelter Stabbing

Authorities have identified a 46-year-old man who was killed in a stabbing at a Minneapolis bus shelter.

According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, Lazar Partee died after he was stabbed Friday at a bus shelter on 18th Street and Lyndale Avenue North.

When officers arrived they say they found a man, later identified as Partee, who had been stabbed. He died at the scene.

48-year-old Michael Breauxsaus turned himself in Saturday in connection with the stabbing.

He is being held in the Hennepin County Jail pending murder charges.

This case is under investigation by the Minneapolis Police Department.
