EmailOfficials Believe Hot Tub Caused Eden Prairie House Fire

Eden Prairie firefighters responded to a house fire on the 8700 block of Knollwood Drive around midnight.
When crews arrived at the home north of Staring Lake, the back of the house was on fire. Officials believe a hot tub was the cause.
No injuries were reported, but several cities helped put out the 3-alarm fire. Officials say there is extensive damage to the back of the house.
The exact cause is under investigation.
