First Ever Railgating Event Kicks Off in Minneapolis
The City of Minneapolis held its first ever railgating party Sunday.
It is part of the Purple Path initiative which ultimately wants to connect the Metrodome with other parts of downtown Minneapolis, especially the Warehouse District. Food trucks lined the streets along the light rail line to lure fan to the area.
Fans seemed please with the event, but the one complaint 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS heard repeatedly was about the lack of beer. Mayor R.T. Rybak said they would be looking into that in the future.
