High Speed Chase Ends in Three-Car Crash in St. Paul
A high speed chase through the Twin Cities ended in a three car crash in St. Paul Saturday.
The State Patrol says a passing motorist called to report an impaired driver around 5 p.m. on I-94 near the Minneapolis-St. Paul border. They say the suspected drunk driver, who had a car full of people, got off on University Avenue and headed westbound, then got back on eastbound I-94 at Huron. The driver led police and State Patrol down I-94, off Lexington Avenue and into a neighborhood before crashing into two other cars on Lexington and Oxford.
The State Patrol says a passenger in the fleeing car was seriously hurt. All other injuries were minor.
