EmailTwo Hurt Trimming Tree in Wright County
Two people were hurt in a tree trimming accident in Wright County Friday afternoon.
The Wright County Sheriff's Office said it was called just after 1:00 to the northwest corner of Bungalow Island on Clearwater Lake in Southside Township.
"Initial investigation indicates that while attempting to trim a limb that was overhanging a cabin, the entire tree feel and struck one subject who was on the ground," said a sheriff's office spokesperson. "A second subject who had been in the tree, trimming the limb, subsequently fell to the ground."
The person struck by the tree was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center by Life Link Ambulance. The person who fell was taken to Saint Cloud Hospital by Allina Ambulance.
