Minn. Organization Makes Hockey Dreams Come True

It's almost hockey season for thousands of kids across Minnesota, which means many families will be struggling to pay for new gear.

A group of Minnesotans is making more hockey dreams come true.

An organization called Hockey Dreams puts on gear swaps where everything is free.

Hope Palmer organized an event in Edina Saturday morning. "We want to give back to families who can't afford equipment, or maybe aren't going to join their hockey league this year because they can't afford ice fees and buying kids new equipment. This will give families an opportunity to get their equipment for free," said Palmer.
