Concordia University Cuts Tuition by $10,000

While most prices go up in higher education, one Twin Cities college is cutting costs for its students.

Next fall Concordia University in Saint Paul will drop its undergraduate tuition by $10,000.

Tuition will be $19,700, a price last seen a decade ago, a 33% decrease. The price for room and board will stay at this years level.

Some financial experts say the price cut is more show than substance.

With so many students receiving financial aid, they say the drop in cost won't have much impact on how much parents will actually pay for tuition.
