Minnesota State Fair was 2nd Best-Attended in History
Nearly 1.8 million people came out the Great Minnesota Get-Together this year to enjoy food, rides, and an abundance of entertainment.
Minnesota State Fair officials say this year was the second-best attended fair in state history, with 1,788,512 people showing up. It surpassed last year’s attendance by 18,640 guests and fell short of the record set in 2009 by less than 2,000 gusts.
Grandstand attendance was 107,469, and the 4-H Purple Ribbon Auction brought in a record-breaking $440,000 to benefit programs.
